Troubleshooting
Always check the unit and accessories each time before use to prevent
damage and defects:
1. The battery has sufficient charge and is not corroded.
2. All pads stick fast and centrally to the electrodes. They are not damaged
or dried out.
3. The cables are not damaged and are in good condition.
4. The contact connectors of the cables are properly and firmly attached to
the pushbutton contacts on the belt.
5. The cables fit tightly into the connection sockets on the TENS unit.
The following table may help if a fault occurs despite these precautions.
Please contact your service centre if it is not possible to remedy a fault in the
manner described.
Fault
The unit cannot be
switched on.
The unit can be
switched on but
switches off again
immediately.
The unit is switched
on but is not
generating any
electric pulses.
The unit cannot be
switched on although
a new 9 Volt battery
has been inserted.
Cause
No battery in the device
or battery spent.
Battery not inserted
correctly.
Battery spent.
Cable broken.
Cable not connected
properly.
Treatment time has
expired.
4 Operating
Remedy
Replace battery.
Insert battery again.
Replace battery.
Replace cable.
Connect cable
properly.
Switch unit to OFF
position and switch
back on.
Contact the service
centre.
