7. Disconnect the brake hoses and park brake cables.
7.1. Remove the park brake cable clip (1), hair spring cotter pin (2) and clevis pin (3) (Figure 16-21,
Page 16-11).
7.2. Remove the cable from the cable support bracket (Figure 16-21, Page 16-11).
7.3. Remove the upper shock mounting hardware from the rear shock absorber and remove the shock
absorber.
7.4. Use a 3/8-inch flare nut wrench and remove the brake hose from the rear brake cluster. To avoid
spilling brake fluid, lift the hose above the brake cluster assembly (Figure 16-22, Page 16-11).
