RECORDING FROM THE RADIO
Recording is done on the side facing the cassette holder.
Use type I (normal) tapes.
1 Insert a cassette.
@ The side to be recorded on
2 Set the FUNCTION switch to RADIO.
3 Press the BAND button repeatedly to select a band.
4 Press the i-l- TUNING button to select a station.
5 Press the REC button to start recording.
The + PLAY button is pressed automatically.
Basic operation
Press the following buttons.
To stop
/= STOp/EJECT button
To ~ause
11 PAUSE button
Press again to resume recording.
After recording
Set the FUNCTION switch to POWER (!) STANDBY/TAPE.
If a high-pitched sound is heard during recording from AM
H
Press the REP EAT/MO DE/OSC button to select the ~osition that gives
the less noise.
Each time you press the button, the display changes as illustrated.
When o~erating with the remote control, Dress the TUNER MODE/
OSC button. -
To erase the recording

Set the FUNCTION switch to POWER (!) STANDBY/TAPE.
2 Insert a cassette with the side to be erased facing the cassette
holder.
3 Press the . REC button to start erasing.
