The *ESE command sets the Standard Event Status
Enable Register bits. The ESR Register contains a
mask value for the bits to be enabled in the Standard
Event Status Register. A one in the ESR mask will
enable the corresponding bit in the ESR to be
reported, a zero will disable the bit. For example, a
mask value of 255 will enable all bits while a mask
value of 1 will enable only the OPC bit to be set.
