  • Page 3 Artemis Installation Instructions Example: If a fan is connected to a circuit that can be isolated via an all-pole safety switch at the switchboard, then this is considered to be an all-pole disconnection to the ceiling fan electrical circuit, meeting the requirements of clause 7.12.2 of AS/NZS 60335.1.

    Artemis Installation Instructions PARTS LIST • Unpack your ceiling fan carefully. Remove all parts and hardware. • Lay out all the components on a smooth surface and make sure there are no components missing before assembling. If parts are missing, return the complete product to the place of purchase for inspection or replacement.

    Artemis Installation Instructions ANGLED CEILING INSTALLATION This fan hanging system supports a maximum 20 degree angled ceiling installation. (Fig.2) Fig. 2 INSTALLING THE MOUNTING BRACKET • The ceiling fan must be installed in a location so that the blades are a minimum 300mm spacing from the tip of the blade to the nearest objects or walls.

    Artemis Installation Instructions HANGING THE FAN Loosen the two set screws and remove the hitch pin and lock pin from the top coupling of the motor assembly. Do not discard keep these parts, they are required to reassemble later. (Fig.5) Fig.
  • Page 7 Artemis Installation Instructions Slide the coupling cover onto the downrod and secure by tighten the two screws. Insert the canopy cover and canopy onto the downrod. Carefully reinstall the hanger ball and cross pin onto the downrod and secure by tightening the set screw. Take care not to twist or damage the wires. (Fig.8) Fig.

    Artemis Installation Instructions ELECTRICAL WIRING DIAGRAM WARNING: FOR YOUR SAFETY ALL ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS MUST BE UNDERTAKEN BY A LICENSED ELECTRICIAN. NOTE: AN ADDITIONAL ALL POLE DISCONNECTION MUST BE INCORPORATED IN THE FIXED WIRING IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE WIRING RULES.     Artemis Installation Instructions BLADE INSTALLATION Remove the 3 blade screws, lock washers and flat lock washers set from the Lower Blade Holder. Align and engage the top holes from one of the blades to the upper blade holder tabs. Carefully align the bottom holes from the blade to the holes from the lower blade holder. Secure blade with 3 screws, lock washers and flat lock washers provided (step 1).

    Artemis Installation Instructions INSTALLING THE LIGHT KIT INSTALL THE LIGHT KIT MOUNTING PLATE Remove 3 screws from the mounting ring. Install the mounting plate onto the mounting ring and secure by tightening the 3 screws previously removed from the mounting ring. NOTE: Ensure the 3 screws are tighten and the earth wire of the mounting ring is connected.

    Artemis Installation Instructions INSTALL THE GLASS SHADE Raise the glass shade or optional switch cup cover up against the LED light kit and secure it to the fan by turning glass shade clockwise until it is snug. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN. The switch cup cover included with your fan is an option to replace the glass for the light in the event that you prefer not to use the light feature of your fan.

    Artemis Installation Instructions AFTER INSTALLATION WOBBLE: NOTE: ceiling fans tend to move during operation due to the fact that they are mounted on a rubber grommet. If the fan was mounted rigidly to the ceiling it would cause excessive vibration. Movement of a few centimeters is quite acceptable and DOES NOT suggest any problem.
