Make sure not to discharge your re-
chargeable battery completely (also re-
ferred to as deep discharge). This occurs often
when the battery has run out completely and
the pedelec was left standing for some days.
Depth discharge will affect the rechargeable
battery of your pedelec permanently. A
deep-discharged battery can only be recharged
in exceptional cases and with special chargers.

Remove the rechargeable battery from
your pedelec if you do not use your
pedelec for a longer period of time and keep it
clean and dry.
If the rechargeable battery or the charg-
er (or parts of it) must be replaced, only
use original spare parts. Contact our service
hotline.
Do not keep charging your battery over
a prolonged period of time if you do not
need it. Remove the charger as soon as the
battery is fully charged.
Do not dispose of your rechargeable
battery in the normal household rub-
bish! It must be disposed of according to bat-
tery disposal regulations. Therefore, sellers of
new rechargeable batteries must provide col-
lection of old batteries and appropriate dispos-

Note that the battery of your pedelec
will show signs of wear over the years.
This will result in a degradation of the battery
and reduce more and more the range per bat-
tery charge. After a certain period of time it is
even necessary to replace the battery.
Lithium-ion batteries have no memory
effect; they can therefore be charged at
any time without affecting the charging capac-
ity.
Also observe the notes on the respec-
tive labels on the rechargeable battery
or on the charger.
SWITCHING THE
LIGHTING SYSTEM ON
The light has to be activated on the display. De-
pending on the model and software, this may
be done automatically as soon as the system is
switched on.
LIGHTING SYSTEM
You may also activate the light manually.
After activating the light, the lighting system can
be switched on and off with a long push on the
remote switch.
If the light is on, a short push on the remote
switch will increase or reduce its brightness.
