4. Operation

Easys opens drawers and pull-outs automatically in response to
pushing or pulling the front panel.
Note: Do not obstruct drawer or pull-out opening after activating
easys. Do not increase the force required for opening the drawer
or pull-out by holding your hand against it. Avoid premature wear
from improper use.

5. Malfunctions and possible causes

Malfunction
Easys not working in response to pushing or
pulling the front of any drawer or pull-out
Easys not working in response to pushing or
pulling the front panel in an entire cabinet
Easys only works in response to pulling on
the front panel but not to pushing on it
Easys not working on one drawer or pull-out
only, either in response to pulling or pushing on
the front panel
Easys only responds after pulling or pushing
several times
On opening, drawer or pull-out travels to the
limitation stop position
Several drawers or pull-outs open
simultaneously
Drawer not pushed open far enough
Drawer or pull-out not closing all the way
Possible cause
Power failure
Power socket not switched on
Power supply unit not plugged in
Power supply unit is faulty
An object is obstructing the drawer or pull-out
Faulty cabling
Object getting in the way between front panel and
cabinet
Object getting in the way between drawer and
easys drive unit
Faulty or missing easys spacer buffer
Faulty easys drive unit
Maximum filling height has been exceeded
System is being actuated too quickly in succession
Switch incorrectly set on the drive unit
Cabinet not horizontally aligned
Fronts chafing against each other
Cabinet not aligned horizontally
Object is obstructing the drawer or pull-out
Automatic drive not working properly

6. Care advice

Clean all parts of the system with a damp cloth and no further
additives. Thoroughly remove any remaining moisture before put-
ting the system into operation.
Alkaline or acid-based cleaning products may irreparably damage
system components.
An increased risk of soiling must be expected on the visible opera-
ting element on the front of the unit. Remove dirt deposits on the
moving metal part (slide) of the activation sensor.
