6. Turn the paint container (5) counter clockwise
from the spray gun. Turn the spray gun upside
down and apply a few drops of oil to the two aper-
tures located at the bottom. This will lubricate the
piston and the cylinder.
If the spray gun requires extra internal cleaning,
perform the following steps to disassemble it:
1. Remove the plug from the mains socket.
2. Turn the paint container (5) counter clockwise
from the spray gun.
3. Remove the pick up pipe and the filter (11) by carefully pulling them out.
4. Turn the nozzle (8) counter clockwise from the spray gun.
5. Turn the spray basket (6) counter clockwise from the spray gun.
6. Pull out the cylinder consisting of valve (7), piston and spring (9).
7. Clean the cylinder and all accessory parts thoroughly with solvent.
8. Apply a few drops of lubricating oil to the piston, spring and cylinder.
9. Reassemble the spray gun in reverse order.
Note:
After finishing the paint and varnish work maybe there are some paint residues in
the paint container. Before cleaning the unit pour this back into the can or into
another suitable container so that you can have it at a later time.
