Work instructions
Check packer bearings for tight fit.
Check packer shafts for free rotation.
Check packer segments for wear, deformation and
breakage.
Readjust scraper, if so equipped.
Check for damage (cracks, etc.)
Check fastening / retighten wheel nuts - see above
Check air pressure
Packer tyres 7.50-16:
Packer tyres 210/95-24: 4.50 bar
Check clearance and adjust if necessary (must only be
carried out by an expert workshop)
Retighten the shaft nuts with 1000 Nm
Check for wear (max. 3,2 mm) and tight fit.
Check for damage (cracks, etc.)
Check fastening / retighten wheel nuts - see above
Check air pressure
• Undercarriage: 550/60-22.5 V Line 16 TL:
• Support wheels: 400/60-15.5 TR 882 14 PR TL: 4.9 bar
Check clearance and adjust if necessary (must only be
carried out by an expert workshop)
Check setting and function
Drain air reservoir
Check brake lines and hoses for damages, crushing points
and kinks
Clean the pipe filter
Check condition and function
Check that they are in place and legible
Perform care and cleaning work; do not spray plastic parts with oil or similar
Spray the piston rods of the hydraulic cylinder with a suitable corrosion
protection agent
Check all screw and plug-and-socket-connections for firm seating (see
torque table)
Check frame and connecting parts for condition and firm seating
Check electrical lines for damage and replace, if necessary.
Store terminal in a dry place
Release parking brake, drain air reservoir, close brake lines, check
setting
Spray mounting with penetrating oil
