WARNING
Danger of road accidents caused by losing the
machine or machine parts.
Before driving off:
Clean all thrown up soil off the entire machine.

Check function of lighting system.
¾
Lock the control units mechanically or elec-
¾
trically, depending on the version, during
transport travel. Never switch them to the
floating position.
Check all interlocks before starting to drive.
¾
Release the parking brake and check the
¾
service brake (option).
Check whether all securing elements of the
¾
connection are in place and set correctly.
Check components of the connection for
¾
wear.
In regard to the drawbar eye or ball and
¾
socket coupling connection, follow the notes
in the Maintenance overview chapter.
Make sure before driving on public roads that
¾
the machine meets all respective applicable
national road traffic regulations.
Initial position: The machine is folded in and
parked on the support.
1.
Move the tractor to the machine and con-
nect the hydraulic lines.
2.
Machines with swinging drawbar hitching:
Switch the lifting/lowering control unit to the
floating position.
3.
Machines with swinging drawbar hitching:
Switch the drawbar control unit to the locked
position and then open the lock valve on
the drawbar. Set the height of the drawbar
via the drawbar control unit.
NOTE
WARNING
Danger of severe injury caused by the dropping/
falling drawbar.
Instruct persons to leave the danger zone.

Never stand under the drawbar.
¾
4.
Move the tractor further to the machine
and couple the machine to the tractor and
secure it.
5.
Machines with swinging drawbar hitching:
Switch the control unit of the drawbar to
the floating position.
6.
Lift the machine via the lifting/lowering control
unit, and on machines with swinging draw-
bar hitching fill the cylinder of the drawbar
with aluminium clips.
7.
Fold in the support up and release the
parking brake.
WARNING
Danger of serious injuries from lowering ma-
chine.
Do not turn over the field/road lock valve.

8.
Machines with slewing undercarriage:
Swing the transport undercarriage com-
pletely down.
9.
The switch-over ball valve field/road is set
to road.
Retract the side packers with the lifting/
lowering control unit to prevent exceeding
the maximum permissible transport width
of 3.00 m.
10. Retract the DiscSystem using the control
unit.
