5.1 Information and Updates

Questions arise occasionally when working with the components
of FRITZ!Card. This chapter offers tips about information sources
to support you during everyday operation of FRITZ!Card. Addi-
tional information, product descriptions and updates can be
obtained from the Internet and the AVM Data Call Center. These
sources also offer tips for installation and information about
AVM Support.
Information about all components of FRITZ!Card is available in
these fi fi fi fi fil l l l l e e e e e s s s s s :
• Readme for the ISDN-Controller FRITZ!Card in the "AVM" pro-
gram group: The Readme contains current information which
was not yet available when this manual was printed.
• Help files for the AVM system drivers: When an AVM system
driver like the CAPI Port Driver is installed, a link to the
corresponding Help file is created on the Desktop. The Help
files are also located in the \SOFTWARE folder on the CD.
• Help for FRITZ!: In all FRITZ! modules, press F1 F1 F1 F1 F1 or click the
Help Help
Help Help Help button to start comprehensive On-line Help.
• The FRITZ! manual: A printed copy of the manual is included
in the FRITZ!Card package, and the manual is also stored in
PDF format in the SOFTWARE\DOCU folder on the CD. If the
Acrobat Reader for reading PDF documents is not on your
system, install it from this folder.

• From the "Service" category, the FAQs can be accessed. These
lists of frequently asked questions along with their answers
present concrete support suggestions and tips.
• "Service" is also the section from which current driver
software for your ISDN-Controller FRITZ!Card and other
programs like new AVM system drivers can be downloaded.
