It is important that there are no overhead obstructions and that there is a minimum distance of 36 inches (90 cm) from the side or rear of the appliance. Maintain 10 ft. clearance to objects that can catch fire or sources of ignition such as pilot lights on water heaters, live electrical appliances, etc.

The life expectancy of the regulator is estimated as 10 years. It is recommended that the regulator is changed within 10 years of the date of manufacture.
