Problem
Engine backfire occurs.
The product has no power.
The product does not operate cor-
rectly.
CAUTION:
servicing dealer if the problem stays.

To prepare the product for long-term storage

Do the steps that follow if the product will be kept in
storage for more than 30 days. The procedure that
follows prevents problems with the fuel system.
1. Add a fuel stabilizer to the fuel. The fuel stabilizer
must agree with the recommendation from the
manufacturer.
2. Operate the product for 10-15 minutes.
3. Let the engine become cool and drain the fuel tank.
CAUTION:

has been used and the product stops.
5. Let the engine become cool and replace the engine
oil.
6. Remove the spark plug cap and put ½ oz/15 ml of
engine oil into the cylinder.

Fill fuel.

additives.

Do a check of the ignition timing.
Stop the product and disconnect it.
Connect the product and start it
again.

the product and start it again.
Stop the product and disconnect it.
Do a test of the receptacle. If the re-
ceptacle is not damaged, start and
connect the product again.

Decrease the quantity of electrical
devices connected to the product.
7. Put a cloth on the spark plug hole for protection.
8. Pull the starter rope handle 5 times to lubricate the
engine parts.
9. Install and tighten the spark plug.
WARNING:

10. Clean the product.
11. Put the product in a clean and dry location indoors.
12. Put a cover on the product for protection.
