GENERAL
The MIC combined service box is a combination of oil pressure regulator and quick-acting
stop valve that is used to control pressure and block the oil feed to the downstream
consuming device. The oil pressure regulator keeps the specified outlet pressure constant
within defined limits, regardless of fluctuations in the inlet pressure and changes in flow and
temperature. The oil pressure regulator is fitted with an automatic shut-off device (swelling
body). If the membrane is damaged, the swelling body wells and closes the vent hole. This
prevents oil from escaping out of the MIC combined service box.

Use in areas prone to flooding
Damage to the oil pressure regulator from flooding
Suitable for installation in areas at risk of flooding only to 10 m water height. Replace the
oil pressure regulator after flooding.
According to the German Technical Rules for Oil Installations (TRÖl), an oil pressure
regulator suitable for the respective outlet pressure must be installed if the operating pressure
in the oil line exceeds the maximum permitted inlet pressure of downstream fittings or
consuming devices, such as an oil heater.
