Troubleshooting the Opus 2 Processor
No sound / no start-up lights
Change the batteries. Try batteries from a different pack if they were changed
recently.
Check that the battery contacts are clean and free from dust and dirt. If not, clean
with a soft cloth. If the problem persists, change the battery pack frame.
Check that the on / off switch is able to be closed securely. If not, clean with a soft
cloth. If the problem persists, change the battery pack frame.
Check that the battery pack cover slides all the way up to the base of the processor.
If not, gently wipe with a soft cloth or replace.
Check the coil cable is fully inserted into its socket and is functional. If the problem
persists, change the coil cable.
Use the speech processor test device to check that the Opus 2 is transmitting sound.

Place into the drying box overnight.
