If the MED-EL FineTuner Echo is not communicating with the SONNET 3 audio processor, try the following troubleshooting steps:

1. Check Distance: Move the FineTuner Echo closer to the audio processor and try switching settings again.
2. Ensure the Audio Processor is On: Make sure the SONNET 3 is switched on.
3. Check Battery: Ensure the audio processor’s battery is not empty.
4. Reduce Interference: Move away from other electronic or electrical equipment that may be causing interference.
5. Verify Pairing: If the pairing was unsuccessful, ensure you are using the latest FineTuner Echo version with the Bluetooth symbol on the back.
6. Reattempt Pairing:
- Place the SONNET 3’s coil on the back of the FineTuner Echo over the battery door.
- Switch off the SONNET 3 and then switch it back on.
- It should pair automatically.
7. Check Compatibility: Ensure the detected audio processor is compatible with the FineTuner Echo and not configured for a previous generation FineTuner.
8. Retry Command Execution: If an unexpected event prevents command execution, try again.
9. Contact Support: If issues persist, contact your healthcare provider or local MED-EL representative.
