1-1-1. Confirmation before Connection

When the CA-755/755P is to be connected to the following
camcorders, be sure to check that the ROM version for
IC16/AT-84 board of the camcorder is Ver. 2.11 or higher.
If ROM replacement is required, please consult your Sony
service representative.
Camcorders requiring ROM replacement
DVW-700 : S/N 10001 to 10196, 90001 to 90015
DVW-700P : S/N 40001 to 40290, 90001 to 90042
DVW-700WS : S/N 10001 to 10135, 90001 to 90012
DVW-700WSP : S/N 40001 to 40555

Service Overview

1-1-2. Power Supply

Power Voltage DC +12.0 V (DC +11.5 to +17.0 V)
. DC voltage is supplied from the camera control unit
CCU-550/700/700A (or their PAL model) via the
TRIAX connector.
. DC voltage is supplied from the AC adaptor AC-550/
550CE via the DC IN connector.
