® Series 756 FireLock European Dry Valve Stations SECTION VIEW DRAWING AND DESCRIPTION – SERIES 753-A DRY ACTUATOR/ANTI-FLOOD DEVICE Dry Actuator The Series 753-A Dry Actuator/Anti-Flood Device is located in the trim of Series 756 Dry Valves and acts as the trigger for these systems. Diaphragms separate the dry actuator into two chambers.
® Series 756 FireLock European Dry Valve Stations SECTION VIEW DRAWING AND DESCRIPTION – SERIES 746 DRY ACCELERATOR The Series 746 Dry Accelerator exhausts air from the actuator to speed the operation of the valve. A diaphragm separates the Series 746 Dry Accelerator into two chambers. The closing chamber contains a compression spring, which maintains this chamber in the closed position.

NOTE: Victaulic provides specific trim drawings for instal- lations that involve a Series 746 Dry Accelerator.
The Victaulic Series 756 European Dry Valve is manufactured and listed for a maximum working pressure of 16 Bar and is fac- tory tested to 41 Bar. The station can be hydrostatically tested to 14 Bar and/or 3,5 Bar above the normal water supply pressure Remove all plastic caps and foam spacers from the valve.
® Series 756 FireLock European Dry Valve Stations PLACING THE SYSTEM IN SERVICE CAUTION • Make sure the Series 756 Dry Valve is properly heated and protected from freezing temperatures and physical damage. Failure to follow these instructions could cause improper valve operation, resulting in personal injury and/or property damage.
