WASHING OF THE FILTERS
Routine maintenance is essential for the good
working order of the air cleaner. The frequency of
filter cleaning varies according to the climatic
conditions in which the air cleaner operates.
Therefore the specifications given in the table only
provide guidelines for the user.
N.B. Frequency depends on the type of pollution in the room.
Specifications are therefore merely indicative.
PRELIMINARY OPERATIONS
- Set the fifth speed of the air cleaner and brush the
intake grille in order to allow the dust remaining
on the grille surface to be sucked in and deposited
on the metallic pre-filter. This is to stop the dust
from causing dirt in subsequent operations.
- Switch the air cleaner off and disconnect the
power supply.
ACCESS TO THE DT - DS – DSC FILTERS
- for authorised staff only
1. Using the tool-holder "A" supplied, fitted to the
Phillips screwdriver, rotate the two screws located
at the sides of the air cleaner (see drawing) by a
quarter of a turn, open the door and fasten it with
the rod provided.
2. The grille and the filters slide on guides placed
inside the air cleaner. To take the filters out, just
remove the safety block and pull them towards the
outside.
Extract them in the following order:
- metallic pre-filter
- electrostatic filter
- activated carbon filter (if any, installed on
demand).
The electrostatic filter should be removed using
the handle provided. If filter removal proves diffi-
cult due to dirt or earlier incorrect insertion, the
cause of the blockage should be eliminated care-
fully, trying not to force the filters to avoid dama-
ging the appliance.
