WALL-MOUNTED MODELS
In-depth research has proved that our health is
directly related to the quality of the air which we
breathe. The electrostatic air cleaner has been
designed to filter and ionize the air, to make any
living environment healthier and more comforta-
ble. This appliance can be used in any environ-
ment where smoke, pollen or unpleasant odours
are a problem. The DSC and DSCL air cleaners
consist of one unit which should be installed on
the wall using the brackets provided and connec-
ted to the power supply by an electric cable. The
DSCL model is equipped with germicidal lamps
which sterilise the air by producing ultraviolet
radiation, reducing the amount of polluting
micro-organisms in the air, thanks to special mer-
cury vapour lamps known as germicidal lamps
which produce UV-C radiation. The lamps are
mounted in a particular way so that radiation is
not directed at the persons in the room, to prevent
the harmful effects of prolonged exposure. To
complete the filtering action, the DSCL model is
fitted with activated carbon filters, which absorb
most of the organic and inorganic substances:
especially kitchen odours and odours resulting
from combustion.
