Install the fixed rail assemblies .

Press the release tab
and pull the latch assembly tab
retracted position and lock the latch assembly.
The alignment pins
the rail should be fully retracted.
2.
Repeat step 1 for the front latch
assembly.

From the back of the rack,
place the rack flange
between the rail flange and
the retracted alignment

4.
Align the pins with the correct holes in the rack

flange and press the latch assembly release

to extend the alignment pin
back of the rack.
5.
Repeat steps 1 through 4 for the other fixed rail assembly.
6.
From the front of the rack, slide the front latch assembly to the front rack flange, and
repeat steps 3 and 4 to attach the front of the rail to the rack.
If you plan to transport the rack cabinet with the

server installed, you must secure the rails to the rack
flange. Using a screwdriver, tighten a rack-retaining

into the hole

5 Install the server onto the
