18.4 Remote Management Screen

Use this screen to configure through which IP address can access the Zyxel Device. You can also specify
the port numbers the IP addresses must use to connect to the Zyxel Device. Click Configuration >
Management > Remote MGMT > Remote Management to open the following screen.
Note: The firewall will be disabled when remote management is enabled. To activate the
firewall, you'll need to create a new firewall rule to allow the remote management
traffic to come in from the WAN side.

DESCRIPTION
Select the Enable check box to allow access to the Zyxel Device from the IP address
and activate the settings you've made in the WWW screen.

This is the port number that the computer must use to access the Zyxel Device. If the
HTTP Port number was changed to 8080 in the Configuration > Management >
Remote MGMT > WWW screen, then this computer should use the same number. For
example http://1.1.1.1:8080 where 1.1.1.1 is the IP address of the Zyxel Device.
Click Cancel to restore your previously saved settings.
Click Apply to save your changes.
