Switching the orientation of the display automatically
Motion sensor which detects the terminal orientation (vertical/horizontal)
and tilt can switch the screen view automatically.

• For the Home screen or some functions, orientation of the display
may not automatically be switched.
Switching settings
Tap the toggle switches, or drag them, and tap checkboxes, to toggle the
ON/OFF and enable/disable settings.

Saving display content as image
Save screen content as image (screen capture).

Press [Power/Screen lock key] and Volume DOWN key at
the same time for 1 second or longer
Information
• Screen capture may not be available for some apps.
• Captured images are saved in the jpg format, and you can check
them in "Gallery"/"Photos" app.
• Enable "Palm swipe to capture" (P.31) in advanced features so
that screen capture is available by swiping the screen of the terminal
from right to left or vice versa with the side of your hand.
• Enable "Smart capture" (P.31) in advanced features so that
the menu is displayed after screen capture. Tap "Scroll capture" in
displayed menu to keep capturing screen whose range can be viewed
by scrolling as one image. Images captured with"Scroll capture" are
saved in jpg format.
Enabling Emergency mode
Enabling Emergency mode changes the following settings to reduce
battery consumption.
• Limit number of available apps.
• Turn Mobile data off when the screen turns OFF.
• Turn off connection functions such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth function.
• Turn OFF Silent mode (Mute, Vibrate).

"Emergency mode " → Confirm the note and mark the
checkbox → "AGREE" → "TURN ON"

• To disable Emergency mode,
Touch and hold [Power/Screen lock key] for 1 second or longer to
display a menu screen, then tap "Emergency mode".
• To enable Wi-Fi, Bluetooth function in Emergency mode, tap
"Settings" → "Wi-Fi"/"Bluetooth" →
• To turn Silent mode (Vibrate) ON during Emergency mode, touch and
hold the Volume DOWN key until Silent mode is set.
• Enabling Emergency mode restricts part of functions. In addition,
available functions for apps may be limited.
• Using 1Seg and a browser consumes much power even in Emergency
mode.
• Disabling Emergency mode may hide some widgets on the Home
screen and may need to rearrange them.
• The emergency call number (119) is registered in your main
contacts.
• To delete an app on the Home screen,
you want to delete → "DONE". Some apps may not be removed.
