If the charger fails to work properly, please check the following
points:
Is the wall socket, to which the charger is connected, life?
If not, the fuse must possibly be replaced or reset.
The charger has an integrated self-resetting fuse. If it does not function
as desired, disconnect it from the power mains and give it some time
to reset. It should now work normally.
If the LED does not light up during charging the polarity may be wrong.
Check the polarity in reference to the + and – symbols on the battery. If
necessary turn the plug of the used adaptor by 180° or switch the
charging cables (Plus = Red).
Rechargeable batteries loose their capacity over time and age. Re-
place them periodically, so your battery-powered devices can always
rely on the full capacity. Please also refer to the instructions of the
manufacturer of the battery.
Batteries should be discharged fully before recharging. Otherwise e.G.
Ni-CD Batteries may prematurely loose their capacity due to the mem-
ory effect.
If you intend to store batteries for extended amounts of time, you
should discharge and recharge them from time to time to keep them in
usable condition.
