Freezing the Cooling Container

The most important step when preparing ice-cream is to make sure the cooling container is thoroughly fro-
zen.
The liquid between the twin walls of the cooling container must be fully frozen, BEFORE using the ice-
cream maker and filling in all ingredients.
1. Place the cooling container (7) into the freezer. Make sure its temperature is about -18 °C.
2. The liquid freezes best, if the container is put in the bottommost place in the freezer where the tempe-
rature is lowest.
3. The time it takes for perfect freezing of your cooling container (at least 8 hours) depends on the tempe-
rature and whether your freezer is rather full.
4. Shake the container to check, whether it is frozen: The liquid inside should not make any noise anymo-
re.
5. Tip: Always keep the cooling container in your freezer so that you are free to prepare your favourite ice-
cream whenever you like.
