OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Before use, please read these instructions carefully and keep them in a safe place for future reference.
When passing on the appliance to a third person, make sure to include these instructions for use.

Safety Instructions

• Before connecting the appliance to the mains, make sure your local voltage matches the technical data
of the appliance.
• Never put the cord, plug or motor unit into water or any other liquid. However, should the appliance acci-
dentally fall into water, unplug it immediately and have it checked by a qualified person before using it
again. Danger of electric shock!
• Do not pull or bend the cord. When the cord is damaged have it repaired by a qualified service centre
only.
• Do not use the appliance, if the cord or appliance itself is damaged.
• Never put your fingers or any kitchen utensils into the feeder hole. Never touch any moving parts of the
appliance.
• Switch the appliance off before changing accessories.
• Never use any pointed objects or utensils inside the cooling container. Rubber or wooden spatulas may
be used when the unit is switched off.
• Always unplug the appliance in case of malfunction, before opening the lid or when assembling or
attempting to clean the appliance.
• For household use only.
• Check the bottom of the cooling container before every use. Do not use the appliance, if the container
leaks or shows any cracks.
• Always place the appliance on a clean, flat, solid and dry surface.
