5. For the best results, it is recommended that the oil level be kept at the upper mark.
6. Use SAE 15W-40 oil or equivalent.
7. Always drain the oil completely when changing. Never mix different oils or engine damage may result.

Changing engine oil

1. Change the oil after the first 50 hours of operation.
2. Remove the hose plug from the flywheel cover using oil drain pump and allow all of the
oil to drain. Draining the oil will be easier when the engine is slightly warm.
3. Reinstall the plug and fill with the correct amount of oil Ensure that the oil level on the
dipstick is at the upper mark.
4. Change the oil after every 150 hours of operation thereafter.

Replacing the oil filter

1. Replace oil filter with at least every 2 times oil change.
2. Remove the filter using a filter wrench.
3. Apply a thin layer of clean oil to the gasket on the new filter.
4. Screw the new filter on. Hand tighten only.
5. Ensuring that oil level is correct and run the engine.
6. Check for leaks. Recheck that the filter is hand-tight.

7. Clean up and properly dispose of any spilled oil. Wipe any spilled oil from the engine

FAN BELT

MEASUREMENT AND ADJUSTMENT
Measure the deflection by depressing the center of the belt between the fan drive
pulley and the alternator pulley at 98N (10kgf, 22lbs) of force. If the deflection is
out of the specified value, loosen the bolts and nuts and adjust the location of
the alternator. If the belt is damaged or worn, replace the belt.
