Recording Configuration
Information
Use this section to record your configuration information. Be
sure to keep it for future reference.
The default MGMT interface IP address is
192.168.168.168.
Registration Information
Serial Number:
Authentication Code:
Record the serial number found
on the bottom panel of your
SonicWall appliance.
Record the authentication code
found on the System > Status
page, showstatus from the
CLI, or the bottom panel of your
SuperMassive appliance.
Networking Information
LAN IP Address:
Subnet Mask:
Ethernet WAN IP Address: Select a static IP address for your
SonicWall SuperMassive 9800 Getting Started Guide
Select a static IP address for your
SonicWall appliance that is within
range of your local network.
(default is 10.10.10.10 for
X0/LAN)
Record the subnet mask for the
local network (default mask is
255.255.255.0). Client
devices connecting through the
appliance LAN interface are
assigned IP addresses in this
network (default client addresses
assigned by the SonicOS DHCP
server are on the
192.168.168.0/24 subnet).
Ethernet WAN interface (X1).
NOTE: This setting only applies if
you are using an ISP that assigns a
static IP address.
