Lexan cover
™
The Lexan cover keeps dust away from the operator. It
also prevents that particles eject. Make sure that the
™
Lexan cover moves freely up and down.
Roll cage
The roll cage prevents damage to the product and the
motor. It prevents injury to the operator.
Belt guard
The belt guard gives protection from the blade shaft
sheave and the belt.

Sheave guard
The sheave guard gives protection from the blade shaft
sheave.
Plug to dust extractor connection
Always use the plug if the product is not connected to a
dust extractor.
To examine the protective guards
1. Examine the blade block and the blade block guard,

the Lexan cover, the sheave guard, the roll cage,
the belt guard and the plug for damage.
2. Replace the protective guards if they are damaged.
3. Make sure that the protective guards are correctly
attached before you start the product.

• Before you do the maintenance on the product, stop
the motor. Disconnect the power cord.
• Use protective gloves when you do maintenance on
the cutting equipment. The blade is very sharp and
cuts can easily occur.
• Accessories and changes to the product that are not
approved by the manufacturer, can cause serious
