4. Clean the blade block and blade from concrete
particles after each use. Use a heavy duty brush and
water. The remaining concrete (A) will dry and set
(B) if you do not remove it.

5. Keep all openings and slots on the product clean to
make sure that air flows freely through the motor
area.
To examine the skid plate
• Examine the skid plate for damage.
• Examine the slot of the skid plate for too much wear.
• Examine the bottom of the skid plate for too much
burrs.
• Make sure that the skid plate is not twisted.
• Lift the front and the rear of the skid plate. Make sure
that the blade moves freely through the slot of the
skid plate.
• If the skid plate is damaged, replace the skid plate.
To install the skid plate and the blade block
Refer to
guard on page 11 .
To examine the wheels
1. Regularly examine the wheels on your product.
Damaged wheels can decrease the quality of the
result.
2. Do a check that all wheels rotate freely and smooth.
3. Replace the wheels if they show signs of damage or
wear.

To examine the drive belt
CAUTION: Do not use the product if the
drive belt is damaged. You must replace the
drive belt if it is damaged.
1. Loosen, but do not remove, the 4 screws on the belt
guard.
2. Push from the front and the rear side of the belt
guard.
