Needle yoke brake

The needle yoke brake prevents a whip effect in
the needles when in the upper and lower positions.
Setting the needle yoke brake:
Set the spring length on the brake so that dimension
(X) is 2 5 mm.

Knotter shaft brake

The knotter shaft brake (B) prevents a whip effect
following the return movement of the needles.

Setting the knotter shaft brake:
Set the springs on the knotter shaft brake (B) so that
the spring length, dimension (X) is 2 5 mm.

PLEASE NOTE! The knotter shaft brake is set
correctly if there is still some play available when the
needles are resting between the cam (N) and the
catch (L) .
