To move the cursor, gently push the pointing device in the
direction you want the cursor to move. Pushing harder on the
pointing device moves the cursor faster.
If you use the MouseWare utility in the Control Panel to set
the pointing device Speed/Acceleration, the on-screen pointer
may move faster than expected. In this case, use one of the
following settings:

If you are still not satisfied with the pointing device
performance, use the Add/Remove Programs utility in the
Control Panel to uninstall MouseWare.
NOTE: You can use the Recovery CDs that shipped with your
system to reinstall the MouseWare utility if needed.
Programmable buttons—Each button can be programmed to
perform a function you select. To program these buttons:

Double-click the mouse icon in the task tray.

Select the Buttons tab.

Under Button Assignments, choose the button to be
programmed, and select its new function from the pull-
down menu.

Click OK.
The button is now programmed with the function you
chose.
