The Mitel® StreamLine family of data switches delivers Ethernet and Power over Ethernet on a single pair of
telephony grade wire1 with up to 4 times the reach of traditional data switches. With the StreamLine switch
customers can transform their existing voice infrastructure into an IP network with PoE, ideal for IP telephony

StreamLine is supported on both CAT-3 or better, and CW1308 cabling, of up to 365 m (1200ft) & 24 gauge or better.

Mitel StreamLine Quick Install Guide INSTALLATION CONSIDERATIONS The ground symbol within a circle identifies the terminal to be connected to an external protective conductor. Connect this terminal to earth ground before you make any other connections to the equipment. LOCATION AND REGIONAL SPECIFICATIONS The StreamLine can be installed in any indoor location in all countries except in Finland, Norway and Sweden, where, in these 3 Nordic countries, it must be installed in a restricted access location. - Page 3 RSTP. HARDWARE TOPOLOGY AND INSTALLATION OVERVIEW Note: Wiring harnesses and Amphenol cables are available from Mitel for connecting the StreamLine unit to the customer premises wiring. See the Mitel StreamLine Hardware Installation Guide for more information.

Remove all legacy analog/digital phones from the RJ11 wall jacks. Note: It is extremely important that no legacy phones be connected when you power on the StreamLine.
