Media Center Setup
This section shows you how to set up your computer to use
the Media Center.
Connecting the Computer to a Television
Your computer has TV-out capability, meaning you can
connect it to a television and view the computer image on the
television.
To connect your computer to a TV, you need an external TV
tuner, and a video/AV cable. The type of cable depends on
your TV.
To connect a TV to the computer:

Turn off the computer.

Connect the AC adapter to the external TV tuner.

Connect the AC adapter to a power source.

Connect the square end of the USB cable to the
computer's USB port.

Connect a coax cable to the port on the TV tuner.
6
Connect the TV cable from your set-top box to the
connector on the coax cable.
7
Turn on the TV, and then turn on the computer.
