2. Fill the fuel tank with fuel when the fuel gauge
shows as follows.
Amount of fuel for refueling

1.2.3 Checking engine oil level

WARNING
To avoid serious injury or death:
• Be sure to stop the engine before checking the
engine oil level.
IMPORTANT
• When using an engine oil of different maker or
viscosity from the previous one, remove all of
the old oil and oil filter. Never mix two different
types of oil.
• If the engine oil level is low, do not run the
engine.
1. Park the machine on a firm, flat, and level surface.
2. Check the engine oil before starting the engine, or,
after five minutes or more when the engine has
been stopped.
3. To check the engine oil level, draw out the dipstick,
wipe it clean, replace it, and draw it out again.
4. Check to see that the engine oil level lies between
the two notches.
5. If the engine oil level is too low, add new oil to the
prescribed level at the oil inlet.

1.2.4 Checking transmission fluid level

WARNING
To avoid serious injury or death:
• Park the tractor on a firm, flat, and level surface,
lower the implement to the ground, and stop the
engine.
IMPORTANT
• If the transmission fluid level is low, do not
operate the engine.
1. To check the transmission fluid level, check the
dipstick as the following procedure.
a. Draw out the dipstick.
b. Wipe the dipstick clean.
c. Replace the dipstick.
d. Draw the dipstick out again.
1. Periodic service
(A) Engine oil level is acceptable
within this range.
