INTRODUCTION
To get the best out of your new apparatus, please
read this user guide carefully before using it for the
first time. We also recommend that you keep the
instructions for future reference, so that you can
remind yourself of the functions of your apparatus.

SAFETY MEASURES

Normal use of the appliance
• Incorrect use of this apparatus may cause
personal injury and damage.
• Use for its intended purpose only. The
manufacturer is not responsible for any injury or
damage resulting from incorrect use or handling
(see also Guarantee Terms).
• For connection to 20 V, 50 Hz only. The
appliance must be earthed.
• For domestic use only. Not for outdoor or
commercial use.
• Always use the on/off button to turn the
appliance and heating station off, and unplug it,
when it is not in use.
• Please note that the appliance will remain hot for
a while after you switch it off. Always allow it to
cool completely before you put it away.
• Always keep the appliance at a safe distance
from flammable objects such as curtains,
tablecloths or the like.
• Never leave unattended when in use, and keep
an eye on children.
Caution! The plates get very hot. They must
not come into contact with the skin, as this can
cause burns.
• Do not cover.
• Do not expose to direct sunlight for long
periods.
• Do not place or store near other heat sources or
in a damp environment.
Cord, plug and mains socket
• Keep cord away from hot objects and open
flame.
Check regularly that neither the cord nor plug is
damaged and do not use if there is any damage,
or if it has been dropped on the floor, dropped in
water or damaged in any other way.
• If the appliance or plug is damaged, it must
be inspected and if necessary, repaired by an
authorised repair engineer, otherwise there is
a risk of electric shock. Never try to repair the
apparatus yourself. Please contact the store
where you bought the appliance for repairs
under guarantee. Unauthorised repairs or
modifications to the appliance will invalidate the
guarantee.
• Remove the plug from the socket before
cleaning.
• Avoid pulling the cord when removing the plug
from the socket. Instead, hold the plug.
• Do not wind the cord around the appliance.

the cord or any extension cord.

USING THE APPLIANCE

The appliance can be used on mains electricity or
wireless. If used wirelss, heat up in heating station
(8) before use.
Wireless
• Place heating station on a
flat surface.
• Place the plug (5) in the
socket.
• Insert the connector (6) in the
terminal (0) at the back of
the appliance.
• Place appliance in heating
station (see illustration).
• Switch heating station on
using on/off button (7), and
switch appliance on using
on/off button (). The power indicator (2) will
come on.
• The ceramic hotplates () will quickly heat up to
operating temperature. The appliance will emit
three beeps when ready. Remove appliance from
heating station.
• Use the appliance to set your hair as desired.
