What is the recommended procedure for replacing the centerplane on
the xSeries 440 server?
Complete the following steps to remove the centerplane:
1. Turn off the server.
2. Disconnect all power cords from the back of the server.
3. Remove the PCI brick from the server and place it on a clean work surface.
4. Remove the shipping/retention brackets from the SMP Expansion Modules.
5. Turn the two thumbscrews to release the centerplane; then, carefully lift the

Where are the Light Path Diagnostics
The Light Path Diagnostics panels are located in two places:
