2-1. Trouble Diagnosis

A failure may have occurred due to the submergence of this unit. Check the state of the water detection
sheet as required. (Refer to Section 1-4.)

2-1-1. Sound Is Not Output

Check if the radio wave is output using the receiver.
When this unit is moved close to the receiver, do the
RF level display and QL level display show the
maximum level?
Is the sound output when the
setting menu "Internal SG" is
used?
Check the following possible
causes and replace the parts.
Possible causes
1) AF harness disconnection: Check CN500 (TX-172 board) and CN4012 (CN-4148 board) or CN4002 (CN-4078 board).
2) Disconnection of AF harness: Replace the AF harness. (Refer to the Section 3-2-7.)
3) Failure of TX-172 board (failure of audio circuit): Replace the TX-172 board.

2-1-2. Remote Function Does Not Operate

When the RF remote function does not operate, refer to "4-2-4. RF Remote Performance Check".
