5.1 Message Display and Notifications
Message notification
Make sure your band has been connected with the Huawei Health app, and enable its
notification function with the following steps.
For Android users: Open the Huawei Health app, go to Me > Settings > Notification
management > Notice and enable Notice. Turn on the switch for apps whose notifications
you want to receive on the same screen.
For iOS users: Open the Huawei Health app, touch your profile icon on the top-left corner of
the home screen, and go to Settings > Push messages. Enable Push messages. At the same
time, enable the notification function for apps you want to receive notifications from on your
phone.
You are able to receive alerts on your band when new app notifications are displayed on your
phone status bar.


Issue 01 (2018-08-25)
When the headset is on your band, your band will vibrate to inform you of new
notifications. (Your band's screen will not turn on in this case.)
When the headset is taken out, your band will remind you of new notifications by
sending you a "beep" sound. (You are able to hear the sound only when you wear your
headset since the volume is low.)
 Your band can support the following message types: text messages, emails, calendar events, and
messages from social media apps.
 Your band will not notify you of new messages when it is in single workout mode or in ultra-low
battery level mode. After you disable single workout mode or ultra-low battery level mode, swipe
right on your band home screen and access the message center screen to view new messages.
 Your band will only receive and will not send you any notifications when it is under Do not disturb
mode or sleep mode. Swipe right on your band home screen to access the message center screen and
view new messages.
