OVERVIEW
CONSOLE Interface
The
interface is an EIA-232 serial port (DCE) which provides for local management and
CONSOLE
configuration (via a DB-9 female connector).
Connection directly to an external modem requires a cross-over cable.
Power Connection
The rear panel has a 12V input for the power supply included in the shipment. Please refer to
Supplying Power to the Unit on page 66.

NetVanta 3205

The NetVanta 3205 (AC or DC powered) is a modular access router designed for cost-effective branch
office connectivity over MPLS, Frame Relay, multilink Frame Relay, point-to-point (PPP), multilink PPP,
or Ethernet networks.
