6.4 Making a New Backup Copy of the System Partition
Note:
You will need two blank 2.0MB diskettes (or the old backup copy of
the System Partition).
1.
From the Main Menu, select Backup/Restore system programs.
select Backup the System Partition.
2.
Insert a blank 2.0MB diskette into the primary diskette drive (usually
drive A) and follow the instructions on the screen.
3.
When the copy is completed, remove the diskette from the diskette
drive and label it with the following:
"Backup Copy of the System Partition - Reference Diskette" (for
the first diskette) and "Backup Copy of the System Partition -
Diagnostic Diskette" (for the second diskette)
Model number of the system (found on the system unit)
Type number of the system programs (found under Display revision
level in the system programs)
Version level of the system programs (found on the system program
logo screen)
