NOTE!
The inner padding and shoulder straps of the TAKATA
MIDI I-SIZE (PLUS) should be adjusted to the size of
your child, so as to provide maximum comfort and
maximum protection in the case of an accident.
[MIDI_I-SIZE_PLUS_017 + MIDI_I-SIZE_
PLUS_018] These components can be set to fi ve
different positions, via a special adjustment mechanism.
NOTE!
If you need to adjust the inner padding and/or shoulder
straps, ensure that the TAKATA MIDI I-SIZE (PLUS)
has approximately the same orientation as it would
have when installed in the vehicle.
Step 1 – Unlock the adjustable inner padding
[MIDI_I-SIZE_PLUS_019] Open the compartment
for the manual on the backside of the TAKATA MIDI
I-SIZE (PLUS) child car seat.
[MIDI_I-SIZE_PLUS_020] Fully depress the slider to
adjust the inner padding on the back of the TAKATA
MIDI I-SIZE (PLUS) child car seat.
Step 2 – Adjust and fasten the inner padding
Keep the slider pressed down, and at the same time,

the shoulder straps to the size of your child. Then
release the slider again. The slider is locked in place
when the metal arm clicks into the slots on each side.
CAUTION!
Whenever you adjust the seat, check that the slider is
locked into position again. To do this, gently try to
move the slider up or down, without pushing it in.
Adjust seat reducer for babies
The seat reducer for babies can be individually
adjusted in stages to ensure your child is in exactly the
right position in the seat. It consists of two upholstered
pads (one of which is foldable), the body support
insert and the head support insert.
[MIDI_I-SIZE_PLUS_056 a] Both pads, the
body support insert and the head support insert
(in the lower attachment position on the body
support insert) will be required from birth up to
approx. 60 cm.
[MIDI_I-SIZE_PLUS_056 b] The lower pad can
removed from approx. 61 cm to approx. 75 cm
and the head support switched to the upper
attachment position on the body support insert.

all the AIRPADS are fi tted correctly and attached.
