Save to Draft — Lets you save your message to the Draft box for later editing and sending.
Cancel E-mail — Discards your email message without saving it to the Draft box.

Receiving New Messages

When you receive a message in standby mode, an alert sounds (unless turned off), the
closed envelope icon (
display showing the date and time of the message and the message contents.
You can close the message by pressing the

Your device can still receive messages while in Lock Mode. The time and date of the
message appear in the display, but you cannot access the message until you enter the lock

The a503 device stores copies of all of your messages and/or media from your messages,
except those that you cancel. Messages of each type and picture message media are
stored in the following boxes:
