ENJOY COOKING WITH YOUR NEW 3 PIECE COOKWARE
SET
Your new cookware is high-quality, versatile, energy-efficient
and easy to handle. Please read the following instructions for
use and care before using this product to ensure that you can
continue to enjoy it for a long time to come.
BEFORE FIRST TIME USE
Clean your new cookware with hot water, washing up liquid
and a sponge, cloth or brush. Dry the product to prevent
water spots from forming.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR CORRECT AND ENERGY-SAVING USE
Never leave your cookware unattended while heating and
never heat up the cookware for long periods while empty.
Overheating may cause discoloration, but will not affect
the function of the cookware. Extreme overheating may
permanently damage the base. The hob/element should
have the same or smaller diameter as the base of the pot.
To keep heat loss as low as possible, it is advisable to place
the lid on the pot while cooking. The extremely efficient
heat distribution properties of your new cookware means
that food is cooked well even at medium heat: Reducing
the setting at the right time saves energy and prevents
overheating. Only fill the cookware up to 70-80 % to avoid
burns due to the contents boiling over. Only add salt to
boiling water and stir. Adding salt to cold water could result
in discoloration and surface pitting.
INDUCTION HOBS
The risk of overheating is particularly high with induction
hobs. Heat up the cookware slowly on medium heat and
supervise at all times. Do not use the boost function.
A buzzing or humming noise may occur when higher
temperature settings are used. This is due to technical
reasons and is not a sign that the oven or cookware is faulty.
If the diameter of the hob/element does not match the
diameter of the pot base, the hob may not react.
GAS HOBS
When cooking on a gas hob, ensure that the gas flame does
not burn around the sides of the cookware base. Using oven
gloves or a tea towel is recommended to prevent burns.
Using the cookware on a gas hob may cause discoloration;
this will not affect the function of the cookware.
CLEAN AND CARE
Allow your cookware to cool down before cleaning.
The cookware are simple and easy to clean. The cookware is
dishwasher-safe, however, we recommend cleaning by hand
with warm water, a little washing up liquid and a soft cloth.
Aggressive cleaning products could damage the cookware
and reduce the non-stick properties. Uncoated cookware
can be cleaned on the inside and base with the rough side
of a sponge in case of heavy soiling. To prevent marks or
discoloration on the stainless steel, do not allow food scraps
to dry on to the product. White or Multi-colored discoloration
and layers can be removed with conventional stainless steel
cleaners, lemon juice or vinegar. Do not use the cookware to
store acidic food for long periods. Acidic foods can corrode
the surface.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION:
For safety reasons, never leave your cookware unattended
when in use and never leave children unsupervised in the
vicinity of hot cookware. Make sure that handles do not
project over the edge of your oven or over a hot hob/element.
The handles of your cookware are designed to stay cool
when used on the hob, however, after prolonged use the lid
and handles may still be hot. Always use oven gloves or a tea
towel when removing cookware from a hot oven.
