Direct & Circulating Air Source Heat Pump Water Heater 6 Operating principle Air-source heat pump water heater is based on Inverse Kano circulation principle, driven by a small amount of electrical power, with refrigerant as carrier, continuously absorbs low grade heat (-26~46°C) in the air, and transforms them into usable high grade heat, which is then released into water so as to generate and secure domestic hot water (with default temperature of 55°C, and 70°C at most), and finally transports hot water through hot water pipes to users.
