THE MULTIFUNCTIONAL GRINDING SWORD

Maintenance:

Changing the carbon brushes:
Remove the plug from the power socket (so there is no electric current anymore!), unscrew and lift/remove
the service cover. Branch off the wires, remove the carbon brushes and clean the carbon brush holder with
compressed air. Insert new carbon brushes (must not be clamped), re-attach the pressure spring. Attach
and screw on the service cover.
Easy, fast replacement of carbon brushes
1
When you can observe a carbon-fire through the air entrances on each side of the machine, turn off the
machine immediately before the fire is too intense! This is to prevent the machine from getting seriously
damaged, from this point on it is advised to send the machine back to us.
Only original spare carbon brushes must be used. When not using recommended carbon brushes our warranty
is void.
Cleaning:
The accumulation of metal dust in the inner core of the machine should be avoided, clean the machine
regularly with compressed air.
Gear box:
The gearbox screws must not be dismantled while in the warranty period or our warranty is void. With
unscrewing the bearing bracket, you can remove the worn gear grease and replace it with approx. 16 grams of
new gear grease. The gear grease has to be replaced after approx. 1,500 hours.
Period of warranty:
We grant 12 months warranty (from date of invoice) on all technical and mechanical parts, as long as the
damage is not caused by a third party.

This is how easy it is to replace the carbon
brushes. Simply unscrew the service cover
and open it, re-place the used carbon
brushes, close the cover and secure it.
That's all there is to it!
