Checklist

If a problem arises during operation of your ice machine, follow the checklist below before calling service. Routine adjustments
and maintenance procedures are not covered by the warranty.
Problem
Ice machine does not run.
Ice machine runs and no ice is produced
Freeze cycle long – low production
Shallow, incomplete or white ice cubes
Will not initiate a harvest cycle
Ice cubes do not release

Troubleshooting

Possible Cause
No Power – Breaker off, fuse blown,
unplugged
Toggle switch is not in ice position
The storage bin is full
No water to ice machine
Water sump overflow tube out of position
Water sump thermistor or liquid line
thermistor faulty
Control board problem
Dirty condenser.
Water temperature too high
Refrigeration problem
Ice machine is dirty
Water pressure supply incorrect
Air temperature around ice machine is too
high
Dip switch incorrectly adjusted
Liquid line thermistor faulty
Control board problem
Ice machine is dirty
Low ambient around ice machine
Dip switch incorrectly adjusted (cubes too
large)
To Correct
Restore power
Place toggle switch in ice position
Remove enough ice from the bin and wait for
3 minutes delay to expire.
Correct water supply
Reposition/install overflow tube
Replace the thermistor
Call for service
Clean condenser
Connect to a cold water supply, verify check
valves in faucets and other equipment work
properly
Call for service
Clean & sanitize the ice machine
Verify water pressure is correct
Vent area or move ice machine
Adjust Dip switch
Replace the thermistor
Call for service
Clean and sanitize the ice machine
Move ice machine to warmer area
Adjust Dip switch
