4. Installation

4.3 Lead sealing.

In order to secure the data-logger from tampering push the
sealing wire through the holes in the cover screws.
(Lead seal set, order No. RDL10X-PA)

4.4 Ambient conditions

Please keep away from strong magnetic fields
(see Technical data: Interference).
Surroundings to IP 65 ingress protection.
Ambient temperature range: -25 °C to +55 °C.

5. Electrical connection

5.1 Connection hints

Should there be a possibility of high energy transients when
operating with long cable lengths it is recommended that an
overvoltage protector be connected.
Screened signal cables are recommended when using the
following:

Attention:
Power supply minus, GND connetion (pion 4) of the interface,
analogue input minus (terminal 1) and terminal 5 of the digital
input are internally connected. Always use barriers when
operating in series (e.g. galvanic separation of the serial
interface).
