CAUTION: Test for colourfastness – Wet a white absorbent cloth with the solution. In a small hidden
area of your carpet/rugs/upholstery gently rub with the dampened cloth. Wait ten minutes and check
for colour removal or bleed with a white paper towel or cloth. If your carpet has more than one
colour, check all colours.
IMPORTANT: The carpet washer should be in the upright position when using the hose and tools;
de-activating the SpinScrub brushes and brushbar. Do not place the washer at top of stairs to avoid it
falling down stairs. Place washer at bottom of stairs and work up.

Using the hose and tool

Pour Hoover carpet
cleaning solution into
the solution side of
the tank.
Line up the arrow
on the hose with the
arrow on the washer
and push the hose into
position. Rotate the
hose clockwise to lock
into place.
Slide the tool over the
tab at the end of the
hose until it clicks into
place.
Fill the clean water
tank with warm water
(max 40°C).
Pull to open the solution tube connector cover
and push the solution tube firmly onto the port.
Plug into the mains
and press the on/off
pedal to switch on.
OPERATION
Turn wash/rinse dial
to wash.
NOTE: Use the carpet washer or hose to pick up
spills before washing and cleaning the area.
Open the hose
connector cover.
Attach the tool.
