following the Video Recording Standard
Unfinalized DVD-R,unfinalized DVD-RW(V mode)
recorded on other equipment.
PAL discs
DVD-ROM/DVD+RW/PD/MV-Disc/DiVX Video Disc,
etc.
CVD/SVCD/CD-ROM/CDV/CD-G/CD-I
Both the DVD recorder and the discs are coded
by region. These regional codes must match in
order for the disc to play. If the codes do not
match, the disc will not play. The Region
Number for this recorder is described on the
rear panel of the recorder.
